- Front desk/client service (2-3 hrs/week minimum)
- Special events (fundraisers, community outreach, tabling)
- Cleaning and maintenance: trash, vacuum, weekly can redemption, shoveling sidewalks, window cleaning, spring cleaning, etc.
- Helping with special food distributions (e.g., Christmas, Thanksgiving, Easter)
- Service learning opportunities for kids, teens, and college students
- Watering plants
- Seasonal decoration of the storefront window
- Writing donor ‘thank you’ notes
- Helping with annual mailings
- Shopping to restock emergency pantries
- Helping specific programs (e.g., student hygiene bags, knitting for winter clothing drive, serving Grab N’ Go lunches)
- On-site help for dementia respite events (Paul’s Place)
